Coast Region
Coast region has 6 counties and was ranked second overall in regional performance with an average of 56.3%. Four of the counties; Kwale, TaitaTaveta, Mombasa and Kilifi were ranked in the top twenty. Lamu and TanaRiver have experienced spates of insecurity since the inception of devolution which may have hindered better performance.
